Our Story
We believe a building is not an object but an inhabited landscape — a quiet apparatus for living, made of stone, wood, and the slow movement of light.
For more than a decade, the studio has practiced architecture as a discipline of restraint. Each project begins on the site, with the contour of the land and the climate of the place. Material follows. Detail follows.
Our work is rooted in Lebanon's craft traditions and shaped by an international vocabulary. We design for clients who measure luxury in the way a door closes, in the temperature of a stone floor, in the privacy of a garden wall.
Founder & Principal Architect
Rita Khoury
Rita founded the studio in 2012 after a decade with leading practices in Paris and Beirut. Trained at ALBA and at the École spéciale d'architecture, she brings a Mediterranean sensibility to spaces conceived for permanence.
Her work has been published in Architectural Digest Middle East, AD France, and Wallpaper*. She lectures regularly on residential architecture and the future of craft in the Levant.
